Pep Guardiola will reportedly reject any approach from Chelsea regarding the vacant manager's role at Stamford Bridge.
The Barcelona boss has been the favourite for the role ever since Andre Villas-Boas was relieved of his duties last Sunday, the day after Chelsea succumbed to defeat against West Brom.
Guardiola is reportedly Roman Abramovich's No.1 choice to succeed Villas-Boas, although the likelihood of persuading him to leave the Nou Camp for Stamford Bridge always appeared to be slim.
This apparent snub is likely to see the odds on Jose Mourinho returning to west London slashed even further, with his future as Real Madrid boss seemingly uncertain.
The Portuguese, it is claimed, is unhappy at the Santiago Bernabeu and will leave Madrid at the end of the season, despite Los Blancos set to beat Barca to the La Liga crown for the first time since 2008.
Mourinho has already been spotted searching for a new house in London, fuelling speculation that his time in Madrid is coming to an end.
