I can handle Wolves job - Connor

Published Add your comment

Wolves caretaker boss Terry Connor believes the turbulent events of the last few days have given him even more belief he can cope with the demands of being a manager.

Connor saw his side beaten 5-0 at Fulham on Sunday in only his second game in charge, and also lost the services of key midfielder Karl Henry for up to a month through injury. Then the following day he had to discipline club skipper Roger Johnson after deeming him to have reported in an unfit condition to train properly.

Connor next faces a Barclays Premier League bottom-four clash with Blackburn at Molineux on Saturday, but he is relishing the challenge, and said: "It has been a tough few days but those are the problems thrown at you and you have to deal with them."
