The agents of Robin van Persie has responded to reported interest from AC Milan in the Arsenal captain by claiming the news is 'very good'.
Reports in the Italian press have suggested the Rossoneri are chasing the signature of the 28-year-old striker as his contract at the Emirates Stadium nears expiration.
Van Persie's current Arsenal deal runs until the end of next season, and he has yet to give any clear indication that he will continue his career in north London beyond 2013.
Unsurprisingly, the Holland international has been touted as a target for a number of Europe's top clubs, and Milan are the latest to have been credited with an interest in Van Persie's signature.
And, according to the representatives of Van Persie, the prospect of their client moving to the San Siro is an intriguing proposition.
"AC Milan want Van Persie? Very good! We can talk about it," his agents Jeroen Hoogewerf and Cornelis Vos are reported to have told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Van Persie has been in quite sensational form over the past 14 months or so, and has scored 32 goals for Arsenal this season alone.
