Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has moved to quell speculation that Luis Suarez is interested in a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Uruguayan striker has been frequently linked with a move to the Parc des Princes over the past week or so, and was even asked to respond to reports while on French television.

Suarez told Canal+ that he would be tempted to move to a 'big club' like PSG, and displayed an interested in playing alongside international teammate Diego Lugano for the French club.

Dalglish was questioned about these remarks in a press conference ahead of Liverpool's Anfield clash with Everton on Tuesday night, and was keen to put the matter to bed.

"Anything you tell me, I'm dismissing," said the Liverpool boss.

Dalglish continued to clarify the context of the comments made by Suarez, stating that the 25-year-old was speaking in support of Lugano, who has struggled to make an impression in Paris.

He added: “How often has Lugano played this year?

“I think you'll find [Napoli striker Edinson] Cavani was also mentioned and I think you'll find it was a television programme about Lugano.”

Suarez has also been linked with a summer move to Serie A side Palermo.
