Connor - Fan abuse unacceptable

Published Add your comment

Wolves players have been advised about their personal security when leaving Molineux if there is another hostile fans' reaction after Sunday's home game with Manchester United.

Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara was confronted by a section of angry fans outside the main entrance when holding his toddler son following the 2-0 setback against fellow strugglers Blackburn last weekend. Supporters also tackled club owner Steve Morgan after the Rovers setback left Wanderers in the Barclays Premier League bottom three.

Wolves caretaker manager Terry Connor said: "It really is unacceptable for players to be abused on their way to their cars."
