Lionel Messi has become Barcelona's all-time top scorer at the age of just 24 after scoring a hat-trick against Granada in La Liga last night.

The Argentina international has now scored a staggering 234 goals for the Catalans, beating the previous record held by Cesar Rodriguez.

Elsewhere last night, Blackburn beat Sunderland 2-0 at Ewood Park, with goals from Junior Hoilett and Yakubu sending them six points clear of danger.

In other news, Arsene Wenger has revealed Jack Wilshere is on course to return before the end of the season - but refused to name a date.


Barcelona have won the race to sign Neymar, with reports suggesting an £11m downpayment have already be paid to Santos. (The Independent)

Belgian club Anderlecht claims that 15 clubs - including Arsenal and Liverpool - are keen on signing their Argentinian striker Matias Suarez. (Sky Sports)

And finally, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea are all monitoring Juventus winger Milos Krasic, who could leave Italy this summer. (talkSPORT)
