Real Madrid are ready to break the bank to land Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool target Lucas this summer, reports talkSPORT.

The 19-year-old Brazilian international is widely regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in all of South America, and is held in a similar regard to Santos starlet Neymar.

After an unnamed Premier League club failed with a £25million bid to bring Lucas to England in January, the talented teenager has continued to attract attention from a host of top European clubs.

Inter Milan are also believed to have had a bid turned down for the Sao Paulo star, who has a whopping £70million minimum fee release clause written into his current contract.

Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is a known admirer of promising players from that part of the world, having signed Uruguayan duo Luis Suarez and Sebastian Coates since he returned to the Anfield helm last January.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are also in the market for exciting young talent, as Russian owner Roman Abramovich looks to continue his Stamford Bridge project of overhauling an ageing squad, in the absence of a full-time manager.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is the man credited with attempting to sign Lucas in January, but with such an inflated valuation that is likely to increase even further, the White Hart Lane outfit may be priced out of a potential move.
