Moyes unhappy with fixture pile-up

Manager David Moyes hit out at the Premier League over Everton's current run of fixtures after watching them leapfrog Swansea with a 2-0 win at the Liberty Stadium.

The Toffees are in the midst of a March that will see them play nine fixtures, and this contest was their fourth game in just 11 days with an FA Cup quarter-final replay at Sunderland looming on Tuesday. That follows consecutive midweek league fixtures against Liverpool and Arsenal.

He said: "We have had a lot of tough games, it's been a real tough period for us. The Premier League have not helped us out and I have been disappointed in them. I don't think they have been fair to Everton in many ways this season."
