Manchester United are among three sides chasing Athletic Bilbao winger Markel Susaeta, according to The Sun.
The 24-year-old played a major role in knocking United out of the Europa League, as Bilbao beat the Premier League champions 5-3 on aggregate.
However, United have both Arsenal and Chelsea for company in their pursuit of Susaeta, while Real Madrid are also prowling.
Despite being rated at £15 million, with only a year remaining on his current contract, the star could leave for half as much this summer.
With Bilbao’s prospects of qualifying for the Champions League all but over, qualifying for Europe’s premier club competition could be vital for Arsenal, Chelsea or United.
While United and Arsenal appear certain to finish in the top four, Chelsea will need to buck up their ideas with five points separating them from fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur.
With The Blues yet to appoint a permanent replacement for Andre Villas-Boas, genuine future transfer targets are likely to be few and far between.
