Helguson and Campbell near returns

Published Add your comment

QPR were set for a double fitness boost in their bid to beat the drop after Heidar Helguson and DJ Campbell were named in the reserve side for Tuesday's friendly with West Ham.

Both strikers have been sidelined for more than two months, top scorer Helguson with a groin injury and summer signing Campbell with a hamstring problem.

Manager Mark Hughes will be hoping both can play a part in QPR's Barclays Premier League survival effort, especially with Djibril Cisse having three games of a four-match ban still to serve.
