Coach Lollichon banned for Benfica clash

Published Add your comment

Chelsea goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon has been handed a one-match ban by UEFA after his sending-off in their quarter-final first leg at Benfica.

The Frenchman will be unable to carry out his duties during Wednesday's second leg at Stamford Bridge, having been found guilty of "improper conduct" by European football's governing body.

Lollichon was sent to the stands in the closing minutes of last Tuesday's 1-0 win at the Estadio da Luz.
