Lyon left-back Aly Cissokho has issued a ‘come and get me’ plea to Manchester United – and Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly keen on him.

The Old Trafford club are in search of another full-back and would be interested in taking the France international on an initial loan deal with the option to make it permanent at a later date, according to talkSPORT.

It would appear a move to the Red Devils appeals to the 24-year-old, as his agent has claimed they had turned down offers from Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus to try and seal a move to United.

“Aly wants to play in the Premier League because he feels it suits his game,” Ali Barat told talkSPORT.

“He has already turned down interest from AC Milan and Juventus because he wants to move to the Premier League and his preferred destination would be Manchester United.”

The report also claims that Ferguson has previously made an enquiry for the former Porto man, as he is keen to add some competitive competition for Patrice Evra to the Old Trafford.

Newcastle United were also reported to have shown an interest in Cissokho, even having had a €7million bid turned down last summer and another enquiry knocked back in January this year.
