Gunners looking at Biglia move

Arsenal are keeping an eye on Anderlecht’s holding midfielder Lucas Biglia and could make a move this summer.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has made bringing a defensive midfield player to Emirates Stadium this summer one of his top transfer priorities, according to The Telegraph.

Biglia has been struggling with injury and form at the Belgian club, but the report claims that Wenger has been keeping tabs on the player should moves for other targets happen to fall through.

The 26-year-old has been linked with the Gunners in the past, with some reports suggesting that Wenger has been aware of the Argentina international for over a year but was concerned at the pace of his development.

Biglia has fallen out of favour with the Argentinean national side in recent months and has failed to add to his six international caps this year.

A combative midfielder, the former Independiente player is renowned for his good work rate and tough tackling.
