The American hit a superb free-kick and headed home a second before Mahamadou Diarra wrapped up a convincing Barclays Premier League win at the Reebok Stadium.

Bolton paid the price for a lacklustre first-half display and remain deep in trouble after their three-game winning run was brought to an end.
