Dann calls for 'big performances'

Defender Scott Dann believes Blackburn's remaining six games carry the significance of "World Cup finals" as they bid to achieve Barclays Premier League survival.

Rovers will be aiming to halt a run of three successive defeats when they entertain Liverpool on Tuesday, a sequence which has pushed them back into the bottom three.

"Every game between now and the end of the season is a World Cup final for us and we've got to put in some big performances and get some points as early as possible," Dann said.
