Udinese utility man and long-term Liverpool target Mauricio Isla could be on his way to Chelsea this summer, reports the London Metro.
The highly-rated Chilean international has a long list of clubs currently vying for his signature, according to the 23-year-old's agent Claudio Vagheggi.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is a known admirer of Isla, and has been credited with an interest in bringing him to Anfield when the transfer window reopens in June.
However, Liverpool will face stiff competition for the services of the South American star, from clubs able to offer Isla the incentive of Champions League football.
Asked about reports suggesting a deal that would take his client to Inter Milan are close, Vagheggi revealed the names of three other clubs that had been in touch to enquire about Isla's valuation.
"They are Roma, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain," his representative told UdineseBlog.
Vagheggi added that Inter remain the player's 'first option', but indicated that Stamford Bridge is Isla's most likely English destination in light of the reported interest from Chelsea.
