Manager Derek Adams is optimistic newly-promoted Ross County will be playing Clydesdale Bank Premier League football at their Victoria Park home in Dingwall next season.

Nearest rivals Dundee were held to a 1-1 draw by Queen of the South on Tuesday, leaving them 14 points behind Irn-Bru First Division leaders County with four games left and seeing Adams's side promoted ahead of Wednesday's clash with Ayr United at Somerset Park.

County have permission to ground share with Inverness at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium but are aiming to instead upgrade Victoria Park ahead of the 2012/13 SPL season, and Adams said: "The diggers are already in."
