Manchester United can take one step closer to a record 20th league title tonight with a win at the DW Stadium against relegation threatened Wigan.

Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to rotate his squad with Chris Smalling, Nani, Phil Jones and Tom Cleverley all available and providing options.

Manchester City are also in action, with David Silva set to return to the squad with Roberto Mancini admitting nothing less than 3 points will do.

Elsewhere, Arsenal visit bottom of the table Wolves looking to strengthen their position in third and move 5 points clear of rivals Tottenham.

TRANSFER NEWS

In today's transfer news, Roberto Mancini is reportedly keen to sign Benfica midfielder Axel Witsel - also a target for Chelsea and United. (The Times)

Pavel Pogrebnyak has revealed Fulham have opened contract talks, with the Russian striker confident of securing a long term deal. (Sky Sports News)

And finally, Chelsea and Manchester City have been told they have no chance of signing Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain - by the striker's father. (talkSPORT)
