Emmanuel Adebayor wants to repay the support shown by Tottenham fans this season by beating Chelsea and securing a place in the FA Cup final.
Spurs supporters travel to Wembley on Sunday looking for bragging rights over their London rivals and, more importantly, the chance to face either Liverpool or Everton on May 5.
Harry Redknapp's side have struggled of late, and the White Hart Lane faithful have had to watch north London rivals Arsenal move above them in the Premier League.
Adebayor, who is on a season-long loan from Manchester City, is determined to give something back to them.
"This is a big London derby and we have to do it for our fans," he told tottenhamhotspur.com. "They have been great throughout the season.
"Even in the difficult moments, they are there singing, praising us and now we have to do that to make everyone happy.
"We've had some difficult moments but this is the chance to beat Chelsea and to be in the final of the FA Cup.
"We have to keep going, keep believing and tell ourselves, yes, we can win the FA Cup and that we have a great chance in the semi-final against Chelsea.
"Wembley is a great stadium, it's a big occasion and I'm sure a lot of clubs would like to be there in our place. We have to grab our chance."
Adebayor dropped to the bench for Monday's surprise defeat by Norwich, but is expected to return to the starting line-up this weekend.
Manager Harry Redknapp will revert back to a 4-5-1 formation, meaning Jermain Defoe and Louis Saha drop to the bench.
