Bale would suit PSG

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale would suit a move to Paris St Germain, according to his agent.

The 22-year-old is on of the north Londoners' prized assets, with his outstanding pace setting him apart from most players in world football.

With Spurs expected to have a large valuation of Bale, PSG, backing by the Qatar Sports Group, are likely to be among one of few clubs able to afford his services, and Barnett believes the pair would be a good fit.

"Bale is the type of player PSG need," Jonathan Barnett told Telefoot. "But he is very happy at Tottenham."

With their Champions League place not confirmed, Spurs are in danger of losing a number of their star names this summer.

The likes of Bale, Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart have all been linked with moves away from White Hart Lane, while on loan striker Emmanuel Adebayor's future at the club is still uncertain.

While their progress on the pitch saw them briefly flirt with a Premier League title challenge, the club are still devoid of silverware to reflect their recent upturn in form.

Defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday ended the club's chances of claiming any silverware this season.
