Napoli playmaker Marek Hamsik has quashed rumours in Italy he is set to leave the San Paolo stadium this summer, amid reported interest from Manchester City and Chelsea.
The 24-year-old Slovakian international forward has attracted interest from a host of top European clubs, after a string of scintillating performances, both for club and country.
According to espn.co.uk, Hamsik is also being courted by Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain, but after recently signing a one-year extension on his current deal, is expected to stay at Napoli.
Hamsik is one of a number of players believed to be on Chelsea's summer wish list, as Russian owner Roman Abramovich prepares to make £247 million of funds available to invest in the Stamford Bridge squad, reported the Daily Mail last week.
However, any hope the Blues may have had of luring the player to west London have now been dashed after Hamsik's latest comments.
"I love this jersey," he told Sky Italia. "I've always said it, I have a further five years left in my contract and I'm very happy here.
"I have married this project and I want to continue to play here."
Hamsik has scored seven goals in 31 appearances for Napoli this season, and is looking to fire them back into the Champions League next year.
