Martinez hoping for double injury boost

Wigan pair Hugo Rodallega and Shaun Maloney are hoping to be fit for Saturday's Barclays Premier League trip to Fulham.

Colombian forward Rodallega has been out for six weeks with a knee injury while Scottish midfielder Maloney, a key figure in recent weeks, missed Monday's win at Arsenal with his own knee problem.

Manager Roberto Martinez said: "With Hugo we are getting closer, it is too early to tell if he is going to be ready for Saturday but he is progressing really well. It is similar for Shaun Maloney, who is 50-50 for the weekend."
