Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is expected to return after he was rested for last weekend's home loss to West Bromwich Albion.
However, Kenny Dalglish's side will definitely be without Charlie Adam, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, Paul Lambert faces a shortage of defenders as centre-back Zak Whitbread (groin) joins fellow defenders Daniel Ayala (knee) and Marc Tierney (groin) on the treatment table.
The two clubs lie just three points apart in the Premier League table, with Norwich enjoying an excellent first season in the division, and Liverpool struggling with inconsistency.
The Reds have had a torrid time in 2012, picking up just 12 points from a possible 45. The Canaries on the other hand have enjoyed a stellar season but are suffering themselves from a recent dip in form.
Their last home match ended in a 6-1 loss to Manchester City, and Norwich fans will be concerned by the way their team surrendered meekly to relegation battlers Blackburn Rovers last weekend.
They face a tough end to the season with a trip to Arsenal and a difficult fixture at home to Aston Villa on the final day, who could still be scrapping for their Premier League lives.
Dalglish targets strong league finish
Liverpool will have one eye on their FA Cup final with Chelsea now, but Reds boss Kenny Dalglish does not think the Wembley showpiece will distract his side as the league enters its closing stages.
"We'll concentrate on every game we've got before then and try our best to get what we can from them," he said. "Nobody's happy with the results but we've not been too disappointed with the performances."
With only two wins from their last 10 Premier League games, Dalglish will be hoping Liverpool can get back to winning ways against the Canaries.
The reverse fixture saw the side's play out a 1-1 draw at Anfield, with Grant Holt cancelling out a first-half Craig Bellamy strike.
Following Saturday's match, the Reds face Fulham at home before the 5 May cup final against Chelsea. They end the season with a trip to Stamford Bridge.
