Roy Hodgson looks set to be named as the new England manager with the Football Association interviewing the West Brom coach later today.

The former Liverpool manager is expected to be appointed within days on a long-term basis that would see Hodgson in charge until at least Euro 2016.

FA chairman David Bernstein made it clear Hogson was "the only manager" approached, with Harry Redknapp previously the favourite for the role.

TRANSFER NEWS

In today's transfer news, Carlos Tevez has announced he wants to stay at Manchester City "for as long as it takes to the project a success". (Sky Sports News)

Chelsea have confirmed that the club have agreed a deal with Werder Bremen to sign German international midfielder Marko Marin this summer. (BBC Sport)

Liverpool have reportedly agreed to sign talented 24-year-old Swedish midfielder Rasmus Elm from AZ Alkmaar for around £8m. (The Sun)

And finally, Everton are said to be keen to bring on loan Steven Pienaar back to the club after his impressive performances this season. (Daily Mail)
