Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is keeping tabs on the Montpellier playmaker and Arsenal target Younes Belhanda as he draws up his list of summer transfer targets.
The Reds boss and his assistant, Steve Clarke, travelled to France to watch the Moroccan international score the only goal of the game as the Ligue 1 leaders beat Toulouse 1-0 last week.
The skilful winger has attracted interest from across Europe, with Arsenal and PSG thought to be monitoring the youngster's progress. According to the Metro, Belhanda is set to leave his French club in the summer, with Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly ready to offer the Moroccan the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League.
However, Carlo Ancelotti's PSG side have the funds to keep the Montpellier winger in France, and the Paris club are expected to test the waters with a £15m bid at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has been compared to former France international Robert Pires and although he played a handful of games for the French under-20 side, Belhanda opted to play for Morocco at international level.
The tricky playmaker has enjoyed the most prolific season of his short career, scoring 11 goals in 27 league appearances and helping Montpellier to the summit of the Ligue 1 table.
