Eden Hazard was at the Etihad Stadium to watch Manchester City beat Manchester United on Monday, amid speculation that the Lille winger could join either club this summer.
Hazard is arguably the most coveted player in Europe at this present time, and will leave Lille at the end of the season for one of the continent's most prominent clubs.
The 21-year-old had been linked with both Barcelona and Real Madrid but, at the weekend, he confirmed that he is destined to move to the Premier League and not La Liga.
Speculation has increased that either Old Trafford or the Etihad will be the destination for Hazard, with the Belgium international spotted at the latter earlier this week.
According to The Mirror, City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak was aware of Hazard's attendance, although whether or not any contact was made between the pair was unclear.
Roberto Mancini said last week that joining City would be an ideal move for Hazard, and the Premier League leaders would surely be favourites to land him, given their financial power.
Yet Sir Alex Ferguson has also confirmed his interest in the youngster, and will surely fight tooth and nail to keep him from the clutches of United's rivals.
