Sergio Aguero has been rewarded for his exploits this season after being named Manchester City's Player of the Year at the club's awards dinner.
The Argentine striker moved to the Etihad Stadium from Atletico Madrid last summer for a fee of £38 million, and has been an instant hit in Manchester.
Aguero has scored 29 times for City during his maiden campaign with the clubs, and his goals look to have contributed to a first league title in 68 years for the Sky Blues.
City beat Manchester United 1-0 on Monday evening to reclaim top spot in the Premier League with only two games remaining, and are now favourites to be named champions next weekend.
Aguero, meanwhile, collected his award on Thursday evening after being voted by City fans as the club's finest player of the campaign; a notable accolade given numerous fantastic individual performances.
Among City's other key players have been David Silva and captain Vincent Kompany, and both were also recognised at the awards ceremony.
Silva collected the prize of Players’ Player of the Year, while Kompany was the Manchester City in the Community award winner.
