Brunt to miss Baggies' final game

Published Add your comment

West Brom will be without skipper Chris Brunt for new England boss Roy Hodgson's final match in charge against Arsenal at the Hawthorns on Sunday.

There are also doubts over two other key players in leading scorer Peter Odemwingie and winger Jerome Thomas for a match the Gunners need to win to secure a Champions League spot.

Brunt has had his tonsils removed now as he is a potential candidate for the Great Britain Olympic squad, and wants to ensure he will be available if required by Stuart Pearce.
