Eden Hazard has announced on Twitter that he is nearing the end of his Lille career, with a move to the Premier League on the horizon.

Hazard is expected to be at the centre of one of the summer’s fiercest transfer tussles, with a whole host of Premier League clubs in the running for his services, chief of whom are Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.

"Two games more to play in the colours of LOSC [Lille] ...Sniff," the 21-year-old tweeted earlier.

The Belgian international has already hinted he will be playing in the Premier League next season, and while Tottenham and Arsenal were amongst the front runners for his services earlier in the season, it is Manchester United and Manchester City that now lead the way.

Both Roberto Mancini and Sir Alex Ferguson have spoken of their admiration for the 21-year-old having travelled to watch him play, while quotes accredited to the talent youngster last week suggested he had opted for City over their title rivals.

Chelsea have also been heavily linked with Hazard and remain in the hunt for his signature, however it is likely that the Blues will miss out on the chance to take him to Stamford Bridge with both Manchester clubs in the race.

The latest rumours also suggest Hazard has been in Manchester looking at potential locations to buy a house ahead of his summer switch.

The attacking midfielder has been in fine form this season, scoring 17 goals this term while also picking up the award for Ligue 1’s player of the season.
