After clinching fourth place in the Premier League yesterday, Tottenham Hotspur are still not guaranteed Champions League football next season.

Spurs, who beat Fulham 2-0 at White Hart Lane, snatched a top-four spot away from closest rivals Newcastle United, but could not overtake Arsenal, who ran out 3-2 winners against West Brom at The Hawthorns.

Harry Redknapp will be hoping that Chelsea are beaten in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich, even if nephew Frank Lampard plays, in order for Spurs to compete in the competition next season.

Redknapp said: "I want Bayern to beat Chelsea, whether Frank plays or not. He knows there's no love lost. My allegiance is Tottenham only. I want Tottenham in the Champions League next year."

Redknapp has confirmed that he will be attending the final at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, and will have a heavy interest in the outcome of the game, as Spurs look to avoid the Europa League next year.

"I was always going to the final. I've been looking forward to it for ages. I'd rather be there than watching it on TV."

Spurs have shown courage and determination this season but all they can do now is hope that London rivals Chelsea are beaten by the Bundesliga runners-up.
