Fiorentina are bracing themselves for a formal offer from an unnamed Premier League club - believed to be Chelsea - for star man Stevan Jovetic, reports talkSPORT.
According to Italian newspaper La Nazione, the 22-year-old will be the subject of a summer bid from the Blues, who want to sign the Montenegro international as they look to strengthen their attacking options during the transfer window.
With 14 goals in 27 appearances this season, Jovetic has been the Serie A side's standout performer in 2011-12, and his impressive form could now earn him a lucrative move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are long-term admirers of Fiorentina's prized asset, and the club have done well to keep hold of Jovetic for this long. But, they now look set to lose the talented playmaker as interest from England grows.
Jovetic is likely to be a wanted man as of July 1st, but so far the Blues are the only club to have been credited with a firm interest in signing the player this summer.
