Yates looking forward to Wembley date

Cheltenham boss Mark Yates is relishing next Sunday's npower League Two play-off final showdown with Crewe after his side secured a 4-1 aggregate win over Torquay.

Marlon Pack's brilliant 87th-minute free-kick sealed a 2-1 win on the night at Plainmoor after Gulls sub Taiwo Atieno had cancelled out Jermaine McGlashan's 75th-minute opener. Having spent much of the first half on the back foot, Yates lavished praised on his players, who took control when the hosts ran out of steam after the interval.

"Torquay gave us some scares in the first half," said Yates. "They were excellent but overall I think we deserved to go through and now we have got Crewe at Wembley to look forward to."
