Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has revealed that Real Madrid are interested in bringing him to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, although the 28-year-old is not allowing transfer speculation to distract him.
Ivanovic has established himself as one of the finest defenders in the Premier League over the past two seasons, and his performances for the Blues appear to have caught the attention of Jose Mourinho.
Real can already boast a wealth of talent in their defensive pool of players, but the acquisition of Ivanovic would only serve to enhance an already impressive roster.
The Serbia international, however, is not prepared to entertain the thought of leaving Chelsea for Madrid, and is still riding high after the Blues won the Champions League for the first time last weekend.
"I know what has been written about my future and that Madrid are following me, but now is not the time to talk about this," he told Marca.
"I am focused on the national team now and I am very happy at Chelsea.
"I won the Champions League just one week ago and to think about changing clubs now is complicated. I am very happy in London."
Ivanovic joined Chelsea from Lokomotive Moscow in 2008 for around £9 million and has since made over 150 appearances for the club.
