Frank Lampard is England's latest Euro 2012 fitness doubt but the veteran midfielder believes the man-management capabilities of Roy Hodgson will hold the key to how England perform at Euro 2012.

Chelsea man Lampard, who will have a scan on Thursday amid fears he will be ruled out of the tournament after suffering a thigh injury in training, saw at first hand how possible it is to transform the fortunes of a squad during his club side's double trophy success under Roberto Di Matteo.

Hodgson has had less than six weeks to plot England's path for the finals in Poland and Ukraine, but Lampard insists it is still possible to galvanise a squad. He said: "It's certainly possible to kinder something very quickly. There's no magic formula in football. You can have the right surroundings for a tournament - and we've seen many teams do that."
