The agent of Cristian Ledesma claims the Lazio midfielder is unlikely to leave Rome this summer, despite Manchester City being interested in acquiring his services.
Ledesma scored three goals in 38 appearances during the 2011-12 season as Lazio claimed fourth spot in Serie A and, it would appear, has been attracting interest.
According to Vincenzo D'Ippolito, the 29-year-old is being tracked by Premier League champions Manchester City, and Roberto Mancini holds a particular interest in the Italian.
The Argentina-born Italian, though, is content with life at the Stadio Olimpico and has no immediate plans to leave Rome for a move abroad.
In fact, says D'Ippolito, Ledesma is likely to end his career with Lazio, and will not have his head turned by the vast riches of Manchester City.
"Mancini likes Ledesma," Vincenzo D'Ippolito told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Each year this interest is renewed but Cristian has made a life choice and wants to remain in Rome.
"He is not the classic player that thinks about money above everything else.
"I believe he will end his career with the Biancoceleste.
"He is ready to be the captain of Lazio next season."
