Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Luuk De Jong is interesting several European clubs, but he is yet to receive any concrete offers, according to the player's agent.
TalkSPORT reports that Benfica have now signalled their intention to move for the Dutch star, who scored 25 goals in 33 Eredivisie appearances last season.
But the Portuguese club are yet to formally offer for the FC Twente striker. Serie 'A' side Fiorentina are also believed to be interested as well as Alan Pardew's Newcastle.
De Jong is one of the hottest prospects in Dutch football, and has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Spurs thought to be the favourites to land the Dutch star.
But the player's agent, Louis Laros, insists neither Tottenham nor any either side have followed up their interest with a bid for the striker.
"At the moment we have not yet been offered anything," said Laros. "The guy wants to decide his future for himself. We are aware of the interest of Benfica, but we can not talk about it because there is no concrete proposal from them."
The Portuguese newspaper Record reports that the 21-year-old forward is now a priority transfer target for Benfica, so Spurs will have to move fast if they want to bring the Dutch international to White Hart Lane.
