Andy Carroll is set to start for England as the Three Lions look for their first win of Euro 2012 in tonight's Group D match against Sweden.

Roy Hodgson will be hoping Carroll can exploit Sweden's aerial weakness with Erik Hamren's side conceding six of their last seven goals from headers.

Elsewhere, at Euro 2012 last night, the Republic of Ireland crashed out of the tournament after being beaten 4-0 by reigning champions Spain.

Italy must now beat Ireland and hope Spain win their final Group C fixtures if they are to qualify after they were held to a draw by Croatia.
