Didier Drogba's days as a Chelsea player are officially over, after the Ivorian striker revealed he will sign for nouveau-riche Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua on a free transfer next month.
But wasn't it fun, while it lasted? The 34-year-old leaves Stamford Bridge after eight years and as one of the finest players to have ever represented the west London club.
Drogba etched his name into the annals of Chelsea history some time ago, but his Champions League sealing penalty - his final kick for the Blues - ensured he will be remembered as the man that finally delivered European glory for Roman Abramovich.
There were plenty of other goals along the way, too. 157 to be precise. But was there a better one than his strike against Liverpool at the Bridge in six years ago?
It really was an absolute beauty and was the epitome of Drogba in his pomp as he used all of finest attributes to hammer home a half volley from the edge of the area. Watch and enjoy. But was it his best for Chelsea? You decide.
