Inverness have joined the growing ranks of clubs who will reject an application from a newco Rangers to join the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

Caley Thistle are the fourth club to confirm their opposition following Dundee United, Hearts and Hibernian. A fifth would consign Charles Green's club to starting life outside the top flight.

A statement from the Highland club read: "Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC has completed their consultation exercise and consideration of its options in relation to the upcoming SPL vote on July 4. The club will be voting 'no' to an application for SPL entry from a new company which has acquired the assets of Rangers following the liquidation of the previous company."
