Mario Balotelli described Italy's 2-1 victory over Germany in the Euro 2012 semi-finals as "the best night of my life" after his match-winning display.

Balotelli scored two brilliant goals to send the Azzurri through to the final, where they will meet reigning European Championship holders Spain.

Germany coach Joachim Loew insisted his side "had a great tournament" despite defeat, and will continue to "develop and learn" together.

Tottenham have confirmed coaches Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond have left the club - paving the way for Andre Villas-Boas to take over at White Hart Lane.
