Wolves manager Stale Solbakken has strengthened his backroom staff by appointing Johan Lange as first-team coach.

The 32-year-old has left his position at FC Copenhagen to join the Molineux club and work with Solbakken and his assistant Terry Connor as they plot an immediate return to the Barclays Premier League.

"We have previously stated that Stale was going to be bringing in a coach to supplement our backroom staff and are delighted to welcome Johan to the club," chief executive Jez Moxey told the club's official website, www.wolves.co.uk
