Neymar has laid down the gauntlet to Andres Iniesta following Spain's historic triumph in the final of Euro 2012 on Sunday evening, with the focus now turning to the World Cup in two years.

La Roja thrashed Italy 4-0 in Kiev to claim a third consecutive major competition crown, while Iniesta completed a fine few weeks with the Player of the Tournament award.

Neymar has wasted no time in challenging Spain to repeat their performance this summer in the next World Cup in 2014, which will take place in Brazil, with Nike using their latest advert to stir up a rivalry between Selecao and the reigning champions.

The Brazilian striker is pictured watching Spain record their latest triumph, before taking the opportunity to text Iniesta an apparently friendly 'hope to see you in 2014' message.

The commercial ends with a brooding Neymar starring down the camera lens before 'To Be Continued' wipes across the screen, confirming this will not be the last Spain see of the boy from Sao Paulo.

Adidas, meanwhile, have toasted Spain's Euro 2012 triumph in different fashion, by producing a video highlighting each goal scored by Vicente Del Bosque's 'Red Fury' on their way to glory once more.
