Rooney enjoys Hollywood Walk of Fame

With the new Premier League season just a month-and-a-half away, Wayne Rooney continues to re-charge the batteries on holiday with wife Coleen.

The England striker, who scored in the final group game against Ukraine at Euro 2012, jetted out to Los Angeles after the Three Lions’ exit from the competition at the hands of Italy in the quarter-finals.

And, after posing for pictures with Shaun Wright-Phillips and Amir Kahn last weekend, the Manchester United forward has now found his way to the Hollywood walk of fame.

Rooney has a keen ear for music, and posed for another snap next to the star of one of the legendary Beatles members.

He wrote on his official facebook page: “Next to the John Lennon star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, what a legend!”

Rooney is set to fly back to the UK tomorrow, bringing an end to his stay in America, which also saw a night out with Didier Drogba and Ashley Cole earlier in the week.

The trio were seen at the AV nightclub, and were soon at the table of music star Chris Brown after Rooney sent across two bottles of ‘Ace of Spades’ champagne, according to the New York Post.

Actress Lindsay Lohan was also at the club, although she just missed out on meeting the football stars as they took time out from life in the media glare back in Europe.

However, cameras did snap Wayne and Coleen out shopping on Rodeo Drive yesterday, with the pair hitting Chanel, Lacoste and Christian Louboutin stores.
