Kelly in charge as Forest seek boss

Rob Kelly has been placed in temporary charge of Nottingham Forest while the club's new Kuwaiti owners conduct their search for a manager.

The Al-Hasawi family assumed control of the npower Championship club on Tuesday and wasted little time in implementing their plans for the Reds, sacking Steve Cotterill on Thursday morning.

A statement on the club's official website,, said: "Nottingham Forest have placed assistant manager Rob Kelly in temporary charge of team affairs following the departure of Steve Cotterill."
