Motherwell manager Stuart McCall does not expect to be able to make any summer signings as a consequence of the latest rejection for newco Rangers.

Motherwell, who were among 10 clubs to turn down Rangers' application to the Scottish Premier League, have so far lost the likes of Steve Jennings, Stephen Craigan and Tim Clancy. And McCall feels the Scottish Football League decision to put the Ibrox club in the Irn-Bru Third Division means he will approach the Champions League qualifiers with a youthful squad.

"I think we have lost 10 players and we have brought five kids up from the under-19s and now with that decision it's going to prove almost impossible to bring anybody into the club," McCall told BBC Scotland.
