Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus have all tabled bids for Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie, according to reports.
The BBC goes on to claim that the Dutch international striker will not be part of the Gunners squad that flies out to Asia on Saturday afternoon, giving a clear indication that Arsene Wenger is looking at his options without last season’s Premier League golden boot winner.
The offers from the Citizens, Red Devils and Bianconeri are all thought to be in the region of £15 million, although Arsenal are holding out for a figure in the region of £25 to £30 million.
With just a year left on the player’s contract however, they may struggle to command such a figure for the 28-year-old, who has suffered from injury problems in the past at the Emirates Stadium.
Van Persie joined Arsenal from Dutch outfit Feyenoord in 2004, and has spent eight seasons under the stewardship of Wenger.
Last season’s goal return of 30 in the Premier League was his best for the north London outfit, but after announcing just over a fortnight ago that he wasn’t going to sign a new deal, the future still remains unclear for ‘RVP’.
