Brazil’s football team is certainly in good spirits ahead of this summer’s Olympic games, and showed the relaxed attitude that could help lead them to Gold during a trip to Stratford yesterday.

Mano Menezes’ side are one of the favourites to succeed in the event, and showed just why in a friendly against Team GB on Friday night, beating Stuart Pearce’s side convincingly 2-0.

Goals from Sandro and Neymar proved to be the difference at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough, and the pair were at the heart of the festivities on Monday, with the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder picking up the guitar to lead his teammates in song.

Real Madrid full-back Marcelo was also involved in the antics, which went down a storm with watching media as the players toured the Olympic Park and Athletics Stadium.

Brazil begin their Group C campaign against Egypt, before matches with Belarus and New Zealand. Having never won Gold at the Olympics, the pressure is on these young Samba stars to deliver the goods.
