The latest preview video for FIFA 13 has added a whole new dynamic to the game, punishing gamers for ‘foul and abusive language’ whilst playing with their headset.
It’s one of a number of new features available to players who use Microsoft Kinect, with EA Sports utilising the voice capabilities on Xbox.
Players can also shout commands at the screen – just like a manager – adjusting formations and making substitutions ‘on the fly’ in an effort to adapt to what’s going on during a match.
This new swearing feature will be the one that gets the fans talking though, with gamers needing to watch their mouth if they want decision to go their way during matches for 90 minutes.
FIFA 13 is the 20th edition of the successful franchise, and is released on September 28th this year. Barcelona playmaker Lionel Messi has already been announced as the game’s new cover star, defecting from rival Pro Evolution Soccer, which is created by Konami.
