Juventus are considering a bid for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko and giving up the chase for Arsenal captain Robin van Persie. The Serie A champions have become frustrated at not being able to come close to an agreement with the Gunners for their captain.

Sao Paulo vice-president, Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes, has insisted his club may yet come to an agreement with Manchester United for exciting Brazil winger Lucas Moura.
