Liverpool striker offered £36m deal

West Ham have offered a £36m package for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll, including an eight-year £90,000 a week contract. Carroll has not travelled with the Reds squad to their Europa league match but the England striker is not keen on a move to Upton Park.

Tottenham have reportedly turned down a £38m bid for Luka Modric from Real Madrid. The La Liga giants could now turn their attentions to Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

Manchester City could move for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain as an alternative to Robin van Persie. The chase for van Persie looks set to come down to Manchester United and Juventus.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been put on alert after PSG revealed club captain Mamadou Sakho is surplus to requirements.

MAnchester United and Arsenal are both hot on the trail of Celtic star Victor Wanyama. The SPL midfielder is reportedly being watched by both clubs.
